Github like dashboard - contributions

I would love to have an heatmap like the "contribution heatmap" on github. 2 axes - horizontal = Months or any other User defined Value - vertical = Weeks or any other User defined Value the "3rd axis" is represented by the colour range where you can set a range and colour. Adding additional rules on the dataset to set different colours and use the map as warning / notification overview.
