Value sometimes lost when trying to add item to settings array

Issue Type: <b>Bug</b>
1. Use the `files.association` setting
2. `Add item` and then fill in a value without a key
3. Tab to cancel
After a moment, focus gets reset on "Key" and the text in "Value" is cleared. Seems to happen only the first time the settings page is open.
