Fractional scaling makes cursor inaccurate on Chromebooks

Got to https://github.com/microsoft/vscode 2. Press `.` on keyboard 3. Open a code file, click the end of a long line and start typing. Your cursor will be off by around 3 characters and it will be very difficult to tell what's happening. Using another browser like Edge won't help, as that would run on Wayland, which has the same problem: https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/issues/136390 Bug happening to nearly all Chromebooks, comprising ~10% of US internet users during the school season.
